Max got to try out a new experience this weekend...derby car races! At first, he wasn't too excited about wearing the helmet but then once he has his first "race," he was pretty darn happy! And when prompted, he signed "fast car again."
The event was sponsored by Life Enrichment Options and the Bellingham Elks Club. The cars are specifically designed to fit two individuals...a driver (who has to pass a test first) and a passenger (with disabilities).
Such a fun opportunity...thanks everyone who made it happen! Looking forward to racing again next year! :)
