So last week the dentist pointed out that Max had an adult tooth coming in...and that would mean his baby tooth would be coming out in the coming weeks.
My friend (who is also a dentist) and I were concerned how we would explain this to Max, what he would do with a loose tooth, etc. Well...no worries. We were at a party yesterday and noticed the baby tooth was gone and there was the adult tooth right behind. I don't know if Max even knew the tooth was loose or that it is now gone.
Weird...I was so excited to have this milestone moment and now it's over. No fanfare...no tooth fairy. But also no drama, no blood. It all works out in the end...and now on to the next milestone!
