the pinatas were a big "hit!"

Fortunately I made two pinatas! With about 20 VERY excited kiddos, we decided to split up into two groups in attempt to control the chaos and give everyone a chance. :)

It was soooo much fun! First up were the younger kids and the pumpkin pinata. Watch out Mr. Pumpkin!

Max enjoyed hitting the pinata! He loved all the excitement!

Gotta love having teacher friends...they are so good at organizing the kiddos!
Thanks Gretchen (Michelle and Elizabeth too!)!
WAY TO GO "MONSTER CAT!"
(I promise all the kids had many turns, I just took lots of pics of my favorite lil' man!)

With a lot of help from all the kiddos, the pumpkin came tumbling down with lots and lots of candy and prizes everywhere! Crazy but soooooooo much fun!

Now it was time for the big kids and the "green one-eye monster" pinata. Watch out everyone, these kids were serious about getting their candy!

Jackson's smile says it all...he is going to bring down the monster!

Love Thomas's determined look and even planning out his swing!

Elizabeth was the "security detail" and kept the big kids away from the swinging stick.
Much appreciated Eliz...by the other parents too! :)
Every time a single candy dropped from the pinata, the kids ran over one another to get to it.
Who knew a little Snickers bar or Halloween pencil could ignite such excitement!?!

Yes, the pinatas were a big "hit" and will be a must at future parties! Plus, they are so easy and fun to make! :)
