a plea to max

Max,

It has been over 80 degrees the past few days. That is really hot for here in the NW.

Do you know what most families do to cool off and have fun? Play in water....yep. Can you believe it? A lot of children actually enjoy swimming pools, sprinklers, any form of entertainment involving getting drenched on a hot day. Crazy, right?

It's really not all that crazy my love. We could be having seriously cool (and I mean COOL), amazing fun. Just imagine...laughing, playing, splashing, relaxing. Sounds good, right?

But nope, your aversion to any water outside of your bathtub remains. You refuse to even take a bath anywhere else.

So I beg of you, my sweet (STUBBORN) lil' man...PLEASE think about enjoying water. It could be lots and lots of fun. :) And I promise you can splash me all you want!

Love, Mom

Have you tried getting a small rubber tub/pool thingy that will fit into the bathtub? Let him get used to 'bathing' in that...then move it outside...not sure if that would work...but hey...you never know!

How about using those syringes you have around the house for good instead of evil. Show Max how to squirt you with it and maybe he'll branch out from there. Your buddy Ashi will let you get started squirting him :)

Max, I read that Dylan and Jonah were in their pool. Maybe go for a visit and they can show you how it's done. Then squirt your Incredible Mommy and splash her.
