speech therapy

Two times a week we have speech therapy at Western. To keep Maxwell focused on the therapist, I observe the session from another room through a window.

He is making some progress, but yep...it's a slow process. He has demonstrated his "fiesty" spirit (to put it mildly) there, but I think he is beginning to relax more (hopefully).

The other day we had a wonderful moment when he imitated "puh, puh, puh" (the "P" sound). This was HUGE! I was jumping up and down in the observation room and then ran in to congratulate Max and his therapist. :)

Maxwell also recently started to do his version of "Mickey" and attempted "bye bye" this week too. Very cute!

The clinic director (in the last photo) also is involved with Max's therapy. We are very blessed to be in this program and look forward to many more exciting milestone moments!

That is wonderful, like I said I am so jealous we still can not find the right program for Eva for extra therapy. Keep up the great work Max.
Hugs,
Crystal and Eva
PS we LOVE the card you send, sadly I did not get to make valentine cards like I wanted they messed up on the class dates so we are going in 2 weeks for a stamping class instead.
