adventures in arizona

We celebrated Christmas with my mom (Max's Grammy) in Arizona and returned a few days ago. What an adventure!

Max's moods were a bit on the crazy side...he is definitely learning how to make his voice heard. However, the yelling and tantrums are quite exhausting!

And within a few days, he was sick...very sick. He was running a low grade fever with some congestion but then he spiked a 103 fever that night. (That is extremely high for him...his temp always is on the low side.) His breathing was quite labored too.

It was pretty scary, because I knew it would only get worse. We were able to get in to a doctor right away and get a chest xray. Sure enough, he had the beginnings of pneumonia. They immediately got him started on antibiotics and we continued on with his Tylenol and breathing treatments.

Fortunately within a few days he was feeling much better, so we were able to travel home. But then the next day, he was needing oxygen. So who knows? I think we'll be heading back to the doctor again tomorrow.

Oh my sweet crazy Maxwell, every day with you is an adventure! :)
