a fabulous new park!

This weekend we enjoyed a journey to Lynden to visit the new playground. It is fantastic! And I am so proud that they made it fairly accessible for all people. Max was able to use his walker throughout much of the playground. He even insisted on trying it on the mulch, but that didn't work too well. (He got very frustrated when he couldn't move it easily!)

He tried out the slide and tunnel, but really all he wanted to do was walk, walk, walk. (And yes, we got a lot of "attention" from others...but it didn't really bother me because Max was so enjoying himself!)

Our special needs playgroup is having a field trip there in a few weeks, and we are so excited to be there with all our friends. It will be so much fun! :)

Check out these photos...could he be ANY cuter? Such a big, strong, amazing boy!

Such a nice playground. Maxwell looks so happy. I love his haircut but I miss his curls.

Yay Max! I like this park, too, and noticed the supportive swings right away. But at that park, with more than one kid, one will surely be lost! Didn't the city and citizens do a great job? It's like a free, outdoor Chuck E. Cheese.

Will you have playgroup in Austin please so I can meet Max? :) Max, I love your new pics. You must have had a great time on that new playground. What a lucky dude you are.
