personal update

Many have asked me about the status of the appeal to the divorce order, financial support, etc. Well, there is nothing new to report unfortunately. It may be next month or many months from now before we hear anything. Frustrating? Yes. Especially since the other parent has made some very odd life choices recently and definitely isn't making any strides to provide more support for Maxwell.

But life goes on, doesn't it? We all have our problems, and we will find a way out of this mess. Most importantly, Max is making great developmental progress and has been relatively healthy. How fantastic is that???

Do I have moments of sadness and frustration with all that has happened? Certainly. (Today I had another doctor's appointment to discuss my breathing issues. I think it's stress related, but they are going to run some tests.)

But I am certainly not going to let an irresponsible parent and a flawed legal system dictate our happiness and future.

Max and I have such an amazing love...such a wonderful bond, and of course that is the most valuable blessing of all. I absolutely adore him!

And we have also been blessed with supportive friends and family who love and care about us. Thank you to each of you. And what a birthday party! WOW! We are loving all the new toys, books and cars!

So a big thank you to everyone for everything you have done...very appreciated! Max is certainly one loved little boy.

Now I am off to post some super cute photos of my special guy helping me pick strawberries. (Ok he just played, but still he was participating!)
