supportive family and friends

Maxwell and I are truly blessed to be surrounded by such loving, supportive family and friends.

My parents, siblings, and friends (new and old) have lifted us up with prayer, love, and financial support, and we are eternally grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Truly amazing is the support of my parents. They have been with us every step of the way...through Max's birth, hospitalization, divorce hearings, and now financial support. I guess parenting doesn't stop at age 18, does it? :)

I know Max and I are going to be just fine...this is just a bump (ok a hill perhaps!) along our journey. Already we are learning incredibly valuable lessons that will help us in the future, and perhaps we will be able to help others too. I have talked with some local leaders about getting more involved and finding ways to make the system more supportive of the special needs community. That is definitely a future goal for me.

Sincere appreciation and love to Max's fan club from me and Max! :)

"If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."
(This is one of my favorite quotes and is posted at my computer.)
