amazing surprise for mommy too!

Mommy got a fun surprise this week too! And hers made her cry...what's that all about!?!?

Remember earlier this week, some bad man came in our house and took Mommy's purse/wallet/gift cards/money/lip gloss collection (Mommy has a lil' addiction!)? Luckily they didn't take my new cars! But they did manage to get a few of my toys that were in her purse. What a bad man.

ANYWAY, a friend of ours wanted to help out and replace some of what was lost. Shawn and her friend Jen surprised Mommy late Thursday night with a completely jam packed new purse and wallet. Everything from cosmetics and gourmet chocolate to gift cards and Mommy's favorite lip gloss...the purse was overflowing!

Mommy was incredibly, overwhelmingly touched by their thoughtfulness and generosity. Truly it was one of the most amazing "random acts of kindness".

Thank you Shawn and Jen for making my Mommy smile (and cry)...you definitely brought some wonderful joy and love into our heart this week. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

God is good and shows his goodness through men and women He has chosen to be His own. They is why Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for those who want to serve Him and honor His name and showing goodness to Him and others. Thank God for good people. We love you all and Amy and Maxwell, Alex wants to send you some cars soon. Waiting for mommy to get better from her cold.

Love,
Diane and Alex

Amy & Max - I was sick when I read what happened to your purse (and more importantly, IN your home). But,as usual, your blog has reassured me of the goodness that exists in the world. You are truly blessed with some AMAZING friends! And as long as you've got that support, you will be just fine, even when it seems that things can't get any worse.
