We learned today of some very tragic and completely unexpected news about our CHARGE friend Cedie (same age as Max). Our CHARGE community is deeply concerned and saddened...and also reminded of how extremely fragile our kiddos can be. Please keep sweet Cedie and her wonderful family in your prayers.
(*Fellow CHARGE families: I tried to reach the family in the ICU but with no success. I'll keep trying but I also don't want to disturb them during this very difficult time.)

Sunday night Cedie went into full arrest. It took 20 minutes to recuscitate her heart. She is stable now but the doctors do not know the extent of her brain damage. She has done an EEG test and we were told her prognosis is not good. However, they say there is a chance for improvement. We all know what a fighter Cedie is and she has proved them wrong many times before and beat the odds.
Please pray for Cedie, and her family. We need strength and God's healing. I can not answer my phone in ICU and I can't bear to leave her. I will try to get someone to update through here as much as possible.

My thoughts and prayers are always with them as they are with all our CHARGE families. My heart hurts when I hear something like this.
