making choices

Making choices (except for when it comes to videos and food) has been a challenge at times for Maxwell. So when he does clearly make a choice, it's very exciting! Yesterday he not only was pointing at the story (from his seat) but then got up and used the board to clearly state what he wanted. I was soooooooooo excited (and so was the team). Doesn't he just look so independent and grown up standing up there at the board?
Using the interactive white board, Max showed the teacher and class which story he wanted.
Being the most "petite" kiddo in the class, the additional stools and steps have helped his accessibility. Max has been a "learning process" for the team.
Getting a little "drink" during circle time.
Can you tell Max was enjoying his story selection?!?! So cute!
Love how interested he is in this activity. So focused!

Wow, he is really branching out and doing this thing. Max, is that our friend in picture with you, maybe Dylan?
