Special Olympics STAR

Last Monday, Max participated in his first "Special Olympics" activity. So cute!

Once a year, the group hosts a "playdate" for young children to participate in various events. After lots of playing and exploring, all the children were honored with a medal at the end.

Max decided to show off his latest "gross motor" milestone...JUMPING! This has been a work in progress and today was the day he finally decided to rock it! Very exciting!

After an hour into the games, Max decided to take a break...right in the middle of it all.

But then he perked up again and received his fun Special Olympics medal. I love, love, love this sweet photo of my superstar!

I was looking forward to the Special Olympics one day with Josh. I think it is so awesome. I've volunteered before, but would've loved to have my own Olympian there. Way to go Max! Love the pic with the medal!

The picture of him laying on the floor during his "break" made me laugh out loud. It looks like he did his fair share of work and needed a little time to re-cooperate. :)

I think it's fantastic that they have these gatherings in your area. Seems like a perfect way for a cute kiddo like Maxwell to excel.

Love the pic of Max laying on the floor and then up and at it again. The last pic is "priceless" sitting there with your legs crossed. Congrats on your medal.
