Off to Children's

Today we head to Children's for some clinic appointments. We start with an echo for his heart (now only an annual test!) and then move on to Cardiology, Nephrology, Otolaryngology, and Endocrine.

I am expecting Nephrology and Endocrine will be ordering additional lengthy tests since his kidneys and hormones are showing irregularities. Hopefully cardiology gives his heart an A+ and Oto is happy with his surgery recovery. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the surgery had any impact on his sleep apnea so that too will require additional testing (i.e. sleep study) to determine if other measures (i.e. CPAP...yuck) are necessary.

My momma is in town so she is joining us for the day, so that will be fun! Need to get Max ready and then off we go! :)

Amy, I'm feeling like Tommy's sleep hasn't changed either and the cpap machine that I fought so hard for to get is tucked beside his bed unused. Grrr, we have sleep study in April I already know the results.

Good luck, I hope all goes well. It is nice to have the company of your mom with you. Hoping for good results with all the appointments.

Wow, Amy and Max!!! That's a jam-packed day!
Hope it all went well... and so glad your mom was/is in town to keep the two of you company during your marathon of appointments.

Interested in what Endo had to say since I know you were looking at GH possibly as well. We are on hold still... have to bump up nutrition (impossible) in order to even truly consider it, let alone ortho implications.

What's up with Max's kidneys...? Reflux?
Big bummer on the apnea... my heart sank a bit when I read that...

Thinking of you friends and hope it all went well overall!
