a few medical "glitches"

We are super happy with how great school is going for Mighty Max! What a truly amazing new step in our journey. I am overwhelmed with joy and pride for my lil' man!

We are having just a few minor glitches...but nothing too unexpected.

Yesterday he had a runny nose, and tonight it has progressed to a fever, more congestion, etc. Yep, less than a week into the school year and Max is staying home tomorrow sick. No worries, I knew he would get sick...I just didn't expect it to happen immediately! :)

Then this morning I get a phone call from his teacher. Sure enough his g-tube had come out! They didn't know when/where it came out (what a surprise for whatever kiddo finds that!), so I went over to the school right away. The hole was already starting to close but I was able to push it though. Poor guy...he was not happy about it at all.

Hmmm...wonder what school will be like for Maxwell when cold/flu season really kick in?

Love the pictures from the first day. Sorry he isn't feeling well, we will be sending germ-free thoughts your way! I hope he feels better soon.
