For many months, we have been on the waiting list for a particular speech therapist...and finally last week we had our evaluation. And she was even able to get us on the appointment schedule for today! So excited!
This is an area for Maxwell that really needs a lot of intervention. She will be working with us on feeding and speaking...two key areas in Max's development.
In the fall, we are hoping Max will also be able to attend Western's clinic. Our current speech therapist might even be able to be involved with the program too.
Communication is definitely the "ball" I am trying to keep from falling...especially as he expresses more and more frustration through his temper tantrums.
So many obstacles to him talking (hearing loss, facial palsy, speech apraxia), but yet he continues to make progress...slowly but surely. He is one determined lil' man!

You are doing a great job handling ALL those areas for him, it seems! Good work! Glad you got into the therapist you wanted.
