Yesterday afternoon we joined Elizabeth, Jim and the boys (and all our crazy dogs of course) for a walk to the beach. Since the walk is fairly short, I decided to leave the walker behind. More and more Max has been enjoying walking independently (with a very steady and strong adult hand for support). It is super exciting, but he takes a lot more falls too! You can't lose focus for even a split second or down he goes. Balance (or lack thereof) is a truly amazing thing!
Isn't this so much fun Mom?(Seriously, have you ever seen a kiddo this happy just walking down a path? Too stinkin' cute...he simply loves life!)
C'mon Mom, let's go! Got lots of places to see and things to do!
Well ok, I can always take a quick break for a snuggle and photo with good ol' Mom. :)
And check this out...I'm sitting in the sand. No problem! Thomas and I played with our shovels and buckets and helped Jackson collect rocks. :)Have I mentioned lately how MUCH I adore my cousins!?! On our walk, every time they would run past I would scream with delight and want to chase them. Mom was super happy about my enthusiasm! :)

That is SO amazing that he is sitting in the sand!!!! Last summer I remember he had issues with that!! WOW!!!!

Goodness...this is amazing! Max, you thrill me! I love to watch you walk, and talk to God. You are such a joy.
