He is removing Max's huge oxygen tank!!!
His oxygen needs have diminished significantly and so I decided we could downsize. YAY! This is huge for us! We have lived with two HUGE tanks in our living room for the past two years. We let one go a few months ago and now decided to do away with this one too. Our house is looking less and less like a hospital! Now we simply have a few manageable sized tanks and they are much easier to "hide."
This is simply thrilling for us. About a year ago (or more), I thought we were at this point and made the appointment to get the tanks removed. Within a week, Max was requiring intense O2 support. So this has been a long time coming...
Congratulations Maxwell!!! :)

Wow! That's great news. It must look so different in your living room.
Yay Max! What a huge step!
Way to go Max!! I know how horrible and ugly those things are.

Yah,Maxwell!
WOW how exciting for u
Hey we knew those tanks ourselves in our 1 bedroom apartment. They look positively WWII don't they! Congrats. PS He's a nice looking O2 man...
OK... I had to comment on this one. This is truly a great moment. We've had a big honkin' tank just like that one in our hallway forever now. We've never used it, I don't even think I'd know how. It's just there lookin' lovely... just in case we need it. I thought about painting it and putting a lamp shade on it, but that hasn't happened. This is a big step for you out of the world of respiratory supplies and equipment. Way to go!
