a dream come true...
This milestone has been over 18 months in the making...seriously. Each and every week, Max's speech therapist and I would practice with Max over and over again trying to get him to understand the concept of using words to "call" for me.
Speech apraxia has been such a difficult challenge, and to see this type of breakthrough is truly incredible. What a truly magical moment...and such a delight to share it with his therapist who has been a witness to this journey. Thank you Kim...and most importantly, thank you Max. You are a fantastic, determined lil' boy with the sweetest voice in the world!

Oh, Amy! What a wonderful moment. And you're smart enough to catch it on "film" to listen to it over and over again, long after he has driven you nuts and you say "Max, be quiet!" you can play this and remember how it all began.

Way to go Maxwell!!! Amy, I am so happy that Max has finally given you this beautiful gift. You can both be very proud of yourselves for this accomplishment. You haven't mentioned anything about the court case. How did it go?
