another delay

So much for a little resolution this week in the divorce arena. The other party filed for "legislative immunity" so the hearing is delayed for another three weeks.

Patience is a wonderful virtue, isn't it?

Wow, Rusty Webb was grasping at straws to come up with that. It's good to know that "legislative immunity" will never work in the future for Vic.

A three week delay in food, shelter and clothing for Maxwell because some of us voted for and financed Maxwell's deadbeat dad. No doubt "legislative immunity" originated from another deadbeat dad.

Here is the definition of Legislative Immunity:
A law that protects legislators from liability in a civil lawsuit for duties that they performed within their office's jurisdiction
So let me ask a stupid question...fathering Max wasn't something 'done within his office's jurisdiction' so how did he get away with this?
I am a paralegal, and even so, the legal system sometimes slays me...
I am so sorry you are going through this..

Unbelievable to think he is so heartless that he will not even accept responsibility for his own flesh and blood. Truly the definition of a deadbeat dad - or for that matter a deadbeat in general.
