Tomorrow is clinic day for Mighty Max.
We have appointments with two of our main specialties...audiology and pulmonary. Max will start his day with an ear exam, new molds, a new hearing aide for the right ear, and a comprehensive hearing test. I am looking forward to Max's response to the hearing test. It has been nine months since the last one, and his development and localization has improved greatly since then.
Then we move on to the lung docs. They have the big question to answer...why is Max still having troubles with his oxygen levels? Some times he is great, other nights he is all over the board. You just never know.
I know they will order another sleep study (and I agree), but that simply isn't going to be fun. Max is getting too active and strong to handle the gazillion wires all over his head and body!
We are really excited to visit with Max's nutritionist and brag about the latest eating development. We talk on the phone often about Max's status, and she is always very excited about his progress and very encouraging!
Off to the hospital!

Oh boy, another day in Scaddattle!
I'll be interested in the news and I can SOOOOO relate to those sleep studies - man, I hate those. Every time we go, I swear to myself that I am going to turn them down the next time they ask. Maybe we should schedule one together?? Share the misery at 5am in Bellevue??
Oy.
I loved seeing Max feed himself last night!!
Hugs,
Meril
