mighty max goes to the movies!

We did make it to the movies last week...but not without a fight from Mr. Max. See, he is used to going places and using his walker. So when we walked in the mall without his walker, he was NOT a happy camper. I kept signing to him that we were going to see a BIG video and how much fun it would be. He definitely didn't get it.

But when we sat down and the big screen lit up, he was memorized...absolutely memorized. It was so sweet! He was so little though that the seat kept closing on him!

Unfortunately Max lost interest about 20 or 30 minutes into the movie. I was pretty bummed that we had to leave (it is SUCH a good movie!), but it was fun while it lasted. It was great to be out and about doing a "typical" activity together!

Whoa, now THAT is a big screen Mommy!

I am such a big boy!

(This cardboard sign fell seconds after we snapped this photo...oops! Guess leaning on it wasn't such a great idea!)

Awww Maxwell, what fun you and mommy have together. I want to go see the Bee Movie. I started a job last week, and the people are not very nice and I had such a bad day today, but was so happy to find this new update of you on your blog. You made my whole day. Now I am so much happier. Thanks Amy for sharing Max with us.

Luv,
Diane and Alex

Cedie got to go see "Happy Feet" and she too was absolutely mesmorized by the big screen. She fell asleep 20m minutes into it but I am so happy that she got to have that experience and that I got to share it with her. Although these kids are unable to live a "normal" life, they fight so hard and they deserve to have these experiences atleast every once in a while. It is so wonderful that the two of you were able to share that moment.

Love Jenn

Too cute. When my son was small, we'd go to the theatre and the seats would swallow him up too. Some theatres have plastic "booster" type seats that allow the small guys to sit straight and a little higher, too.
