Until last week, Maxwell basically did not acknowledge our dogs' existence...despite Shakespeare always (and I mean always) being right beside us.
However, that all changed last week during a speech therapy session. Shakey was sitting right in the middle of us (he just loves all our "visitors") and Max reached over and started gently petting him. Max's therapist (who is a dog lover too) and I were so surprised and excited! :) Usually Max gets very angry if either of the dogs get too close and especially if they put a paw on him...it would drive him nuts. But now all of a sudden, Max is pretty cool about it all. So cute to watch him explore Shakespeare! :) This is one of my new favorite photos..how sweet is Maxwell's beautiful face!?!
