our fun nature walk

Max started to feel a little better over the weekend (this kiddo is amazing!), and so we thought a nature walk would be just perfect! Everyone, including the dogs, had a great time!

I am just loving the freedom Max has with his walker. We take walks around the neighborhood a lot (even in the rain today because he was very determined), and I love that he can now officially participate on our outdoor "adventures." Ok our "big adventure" was at a park just a few miles from our house...but nevertheless, it was great fun!

"Sweet kissy face for Mommy!"

"Hi there Mom!"

"Ok, I'll hold hands with Thomas...but just for a second."

"Now this is what I am talking about. A good ol' tickle session with Aunt Eliz and my friend Sara!"

"Oh and this is my very, very, very favorite! The LA LA dance! I could seriously do this all day long."

"How cool is this? Just one handed help from Aunt Eliz and I walked to Mommy!"

"Check out my dog Barney. He has been doing so much better recently and Mommy is very excited! She has been giving him lots of different meds, put him on a different diet...and he is doing great! We love you buddy!"

(Barney was diagnosed with Lupus last year, and his health has been a big concern to us.)

"How cute are my cousin Jackson and my wonderful dog Shakespeare?"

I am so far behind on your blog, it took me a while to catch up tonight. SOOO great to see your little man out and about and having adventures! Also loved catching up on Eliz's boys. Together, they make quite a handsome trio, though I never in a million years thought I'd see a blonde McKinley baby! Sending love and warm wishes from Memphis (& please pass it to the Boyles!).

Does Max ever get Mommy and Aunt Eliz confused? Just curious. Anyway, I'm glad everyone's feeling better. It looks like you had a great day!

Maxwell,

I was so happy to see new pictures of you today and to read that you are feeling better.

I really like those shoes Thomas has. Don't think shoes that cute have made it to WV.

I, too, am curious if you ever confuse Mommy and Aunt Eliz.

I love you!

How sweet is that. I am so happy you are feeling better. You are a real trooper. We love you so much. Who is who, your mommy and your aunt look exactly alike. How do you keep from getting them mixed up. HA!!

What a fun day! Max you are too cute in your little brown jacket. What a little man you are! I hope Luke learns to use his walker as well as you do. Your auntie does look just like your mommy. I was a little confused at first. It's no wonder your such a cutie pie with all the good looks in your family. Good to see you feeling better and enjoying the fall weather before it gets too cold! Big hugs.
