This funny lil' kiddo is simply obsessed with his reflection in mirrors. Absolutely obsessed. He just loves to check himself out and make faces, play peek a boo, laugh, you name it! It is hilarious.
It has even gotten to the point that at some of his appointments, his therapists have changed the room around to "hide" the mirror because it is such a distraction for Max!
He also loves if I join him in the mirror and he'll put his arm around me and put our faces together. So funny! :)
I guess it's my fault. :) I tell him at least 500 times a day how gorgeous and amazing he is. He finally decided, "she's right!," and I want to enjoy the view!

That is hilarious! We have that same "rearranging" going on at our therapy sessions too! E is particularly getting frustrated at Dylan's love for his reflection. She's had to put a big mat in front of the mirror and we are even trying the other therapy room to see if we can keep Dylan on track.
I love the pictures. Max is so cute so really...can you blame him?
Thanks for sharing.

Well what can we say you are adorable and when your adorable you have to look at yourself all the time right!!! LOL!
You are to cute for words Max.
Hugs,
Crystal and Eva
Who could help looking at that adorable little face, right, Max? :-)
Katie's teachers have had to cover the mirrors in her classrooms at school too, or Katie will get obsessed with playing in front of them. We have a huge one in our basement that she likes to sit in front of and sign to herself. It's so cute to watch!

Max, you are very handsome. But we already knew that, right. Hugs to you and your incredible Mommy.

Maxwell is amazing! I want so much to hug and kiss him again. Does he kiss the mirror when he looks at himself?
Thank you for sharing Maxwell's progress. The two of you are amazing.
If I was as cute as Max, I'd be staring at myself in the mirror too!
Loved seeing him at the crop! That is one handsome boy.
I had the same thought as Stefanie. If I had that to look at in the mirror- you couldn't pull me away. Once again it just shows that he has great taste!
Take care-

Hey Mighty Max, you like your twin brother in the mirror - well, no wonder, he is so cute and adorable, I can't blame you. He looks just like you!! HA!! You are just way to cute and you do the cutest things. Keep sending those pics Amy, you make my day. You have one adorable Mighty Max.

Max, you are an amazingly joyous human being!
It's fun seeing how much you love life and yourself!
We can all learn a lot from you about self-acceptance!
Love from your Grammy
Fantastic, love it! Reuben's in the early stages of doing the same one day like his big friend mentor, Maxwell! PS thank you for being an absolute star in your blogs to me. I came to your blog today for inspiration and you always give me just that. Much love, Cx
What a little man! If I were that cute I'd be checkin' myself out all the time too! So funny.

Max, It is true.....you are gorgeous. And we get to see 2 of you now!!! lol.
Amy, Don't you just love mirror time. So fun. I love to let the kids explore and then take pics of them looking at themselves. I guess when you're a kid you can linger at the mirror.....when you're an adult......they call it vanity if you linger too long. Next time I'll linger a little longer!! :):)
Always far away by distance but right here in friendship,
