multi-tasking at its finest

This is a normal sighting at a park, right? :)
* Max's interest/ability in oral feeds has diminished greatly AGAIN. Seems like every week I am coming up with another game plan on how to guarantee his nutrition, yet make him hungry enough to want to eat. It can be very frustrating...to say the least. In the meantime, we will try and be as creative as possible in getting in all his feeds....even if it means chasing him (literally) around with a syringe! :)

Aren't you resourceful! And I didn't realize Max tolerated bolus feeds without a pump. That's great and must be so much easier than having to take the pump everywhere. So nice that Max gets to experience the park so often. He definitely is a little guy on the go!

Max is the sweetest thing ever! Bennett and I are constantly "checking up" on you two from Michigan and I thought I'd finally drop you a line. Hopefully I'll be able to meet you and the little tyke soon enough!

Despite the feeding difficulties which drive us all insane, I think how terrific Max's walking with his frame has come on leaps and bounds...well done Max. xx

Oh Max, you are just so cute. Feeding tube and all! Tommy will be getting his peg later this month (much thanks to your mommy for her reassurances). Enjoy walks with your momma! -Sandi and Tommy

Thanks again for writing Amy. You're a great inspiration to me as when I look at Max, I feel I'm looking at, hoping for, Reuben to be in the years to come. I love to see the happy photos, to read your inspirational endeavours. With love Catherine x

I'm sorry I haven't been checking in as frequently. Life's been busy, but I just have to say that I am amazed at how big Max is getting and how much progress he has made recently. He sure is a sweet boy.
