For the VERY first time, Max POINTED to something in a book!!!
This has been a year in the making...seriously. We don't know why it has taken this long for him to grasp this concept, but it simply has. But yesterday with A LOT of encouragement during speech therapy, he did it...for the first time!
It was so great! Max was pretty darn excited with our reactions (you would have thought we won the lottery!)...and that definitely made him happy!
Ok, he didn't really "perform" his new skill on his own again...but hey, one step at a time. Perhaps we will see a replay again today?
