Sorry for the lack of updates...and thank you for the concerned emails.
After talking the anesthesia team at Childrens, it was decided Max was too "high risk" to proceed with surgery this week. They were hoping to fit him in next week but urology doesn't have an opening until December. Yep, December. So...I will just continue pestering them until we can get him in sooner. Because there is a high likelihood that Max would be sick again during that time since it is major cold and flu season. The past two years he has been in isolation from October through March. So we'll see.
I felt very comfortable with this decision. As much as I wanted to get this surgery behind us, I also am aware of the many complications with anesthesia in people with CHARGE.

Glad everything is well and you feel good about all that is going on. I will pray they can get Max in sooner.
