Check out this great newsclip about Walgreens and the company's efforts to employ more people with disabilities. The company's vice president has a son with autism and initiated this program.
What I loved to learn was that everyone was paid and treated equally and that this particular distribution center was actually 20% more profitable than the others!
These kind of programs provide much reassurance to me and Maxwell's future. There really are people who "get it" and want to help. Thank you Walgreen's!

Yeah Im with Carolyn. Amy what a great post. Good news is, theres alot more companies doing this. Wal Mart, Target, HEB here in Texas. Youll need to request that your scrapbook store order Mrs. Grossman's Stickers. Her company ........."hires and celebrates teh skills of developmentally challenged adults"
