a super fun mall adventure!

Guess where I went today???

THE MALL! Yep, the mall! And I walked, and walked and walked! Boy did I walk...and wow did I get a lot of attention! :)

So many people staring, oohing and aahing and several people commented that I was the "sweetest child ever!" We met a lot of wonderful people and many were very encouraging. (We also had a lot of stares too, but that's ok...they were probably just jealous how cute I am with my walker!)

Momma says today was truly one of the best days ever! She was sooooooo proud of me and was amazed how determined I was to keep walking. Several times she picked me up because she thought I was finished, but I quickly let her know that wasn't the case. I was very clear with my complaints until she put me down with the walker again! And off I would go!

It's like I've been doing this for years...

Most of the time I am very happy and smiley when I am walking, but sometimes I have to really focus on what I am doing.

What'd you say Momma?

Oh yea, I know...I'm very impressive. Heard that about 10 times already. But sure, you can say it again (and again and again and again!)

I'm going to take just a quick break Momma.

And now a little window shopping. Momma, anything you need?

(Max has a dominant side so he tends to push his walker over to the left and he ended up going into stores and walls quite often. And of course he created a traffic jam occasionally too, but everyone was understanding.)

Gotta go now. I got places to go, people to see and things to do. Catch you later!

Unbeliveable, Maxwell! Those starers were just looking at what a beautiful mother and son. Be sure to take a break from walking periodically so Mommy can rest. :)

Love you,

Max, it's hilarious that you can't get enough of it. You're probably thinking, "Finally, I check out all this stuff that I just had to wonder about before. How liberating!"

Loved the pictures! Reminds me of Cameron in the mall when he was learning with his walker. It's such a great and safe place to practice. Before you know it he'll be walking out of it!

Max, if I haven't told you already, YOU ARE ONE HANDSOME FELLA! And if I was at the mall that day I probably would have stared too. Just because you are so cute! Amy, i can see why you say that sometimes he does so well that you forget just how fragile he really is. He sure looks super healthy in the video! I was absolutely amazed when he pulled himself up to the standing position ALL BY HIMSELF. Great walking Mr. Max! Keep on keeping on, buddy!
