My OT and PT went to a training this weekend and came back with this special suit that provides special support and pressure for children with low muscle tone. So they were quite excited to try it with me. Some kiddos respond right away with a noticeable difference...others have a more subtle response. I was in the latter category. But that's ok, we are going to try again at our next session and then decide if we need to invest in this device.
Mom was joking with my therapists that this suit was simply an effort to even the playing field. She said that other parents were probably saying we need to lower the "cute" factor of Mighty Maxwell, so let's come up with this silly suit for him to wear. They thought Mommy's idea was pretty funny! :)
And guess what, I am just as cute as ever in my fancy new suit!

So here I am getting manhandled by Jill and Eileen. Just kidding ladies...I love ya! :)
The suit needs to be really tight to provide the right support.

What do you all think? Lower my cute factor? No way!

I immediately crawled over to my favorite table and showed Eileen my new cruising skills! I love, love, love to move!
I did seem to have slightly more problems with moving from various positions with this suit, BUT I engaged in lots and lots of really good squatting. Very impressive!

Nothing you wear will make you less cute! Cameron was fitted with a weighted vest a few times but never really liked it so we didn't get him one.
Best of luck with your new duds! :>)

Cute as always! I don't think Cedie would have liked that. It looks like it would be hot. I wondered if it would help Eva as well. Interesting..

Sorry, Max. I don't think it's possible to lower your cute factor!
How adorable is that. You look so cute and healthy little Maxwell. I just love seeing you doing so many different things. You go!

Oh, Maxwell! You will always be the cutest little guy ever! I am amazed that how you just accept everything that anyone tries on you.
I think the reason for that is the security you feel with having your mother there. You know you are safe if she is there. The two of you together can accomplish anything.
Much love,
"Auntie" Mary
He is adorable! He looks like he's wearing a bullet-proof vest. He's beautiful no matter what he is wearing!

Max, I love your legs. You will try anything, and that is good. Mommy is a good teacher.
