I am very excited for tomorrow morning! My friend and I are taking Maxwell to the mall (the mall opens early for "walkers"), so that he can cruise around with no one in the way. :) I'm sure there will lots more photos and videos!
* On a side note, it is very exciting to have Max so interested in his walker, but I keep reminding myself of how long some kiddos must use a walker before advancing to independent walking. The low muscle tone and lack of balance are two major obstacles. For example, one CHARGE friend took two years with her walker. So before we get excited about the future, I am just going to enjoy the here and now. He has made SUCH significant progress...and I feel incredibly blessed. Thanks everyone for your happiness and encouragement!

Max, you are so awesome! I love seeing you getting around with your walker--so exciting! Evan is making progress with his too. Yesterday, he was using his walker all by himself (we don't need to be right there to keep the walker from "getting away" from him any more)!
Hugs, Sarah, Jeremy, and Evan
Yeah, Yeah, I know, you aren't home. You're out cruising around at the mall in your new cadillac. Mom best keep a good eye on you, I think you go there to look at the girls!! Un huh!! That is what my girls does, except she looks at the boys. I know. I know.

Amy, The pictures so remind me of Keith in the walker - he used it for two years before walking independantly...... one trick that worked for Keith was to give him an 8-10 inch ball to hold whie he walked - it seemed to really stabilize him - then we graduated to a strap off a walkman - he hald one end, we held the other :o) But mostly I remember Keith was just like Max - a dynamo of never-stop - and the adoring people as well - and we just thought they were finding something nice to say because Keith was our first. Then I look back to the same period in our two that are medically unremarkabel (Keith's younger brothers) and how they would tire of walking and put up their faces and arms pleading to be carried... never Keith - he never wanted to stop. He still doesn't - so I imagine Max will be much the same - if not even more so! Might Max Go!!!! Awesome! love to you both, Yuka
This is so incredible! Kate got to watch the video of the awesome little man that she prays for nightly, so it was awesome.
So great the work you two are doing together! Congrats!
