Our lil' CHARGE friend, Tate, had a successful day of surgery and was doing fairly well post op. He experienced a setback last night though when he began having difficulty breathing and had to be reintubated. This is something doctors usually try to avoid after an oral surgery such as this.

I was just on his site and posted to the family. He is such a wonderful sweet little boy. My thoughts and prayers are with him always.

oh my gosh. that just about knocked the wind out of my gut. It took me back to when C had his surgeries 12 years ago. I am so greatful that we have wonderful medical professionals to help with our babies.
Tate is a beautiful baby boy.
Wow...just read Tate's blog. What an amazing family! And what an incredible job his surgeon's did! So sorry to hear he's having complications. Tate & his family are definitely in our prayers tonight.
Thanks, Amy and Max, for bringing these inspiring, strong families and even stronger children (you two, included!) into our lives. They remind me every day that nothing is impossible.
