The darn reflux episodes are back...yuck. :(
The last two nights the poor lil' guy woke up vomiting and it continued off and on for the next few hours. He isn't sick so I know it's just because of his failed Nissen.
I was able to quickly remove his stomach contents to ease his vomiting but he still wasn't happy both nights. This morning I finally gave up and just started our day at 4 am. It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you start your day early! :)
I cannot really complain about the reflux since his is so mild compared to what some other CHARGErs are experiencing right now. Our friend, Tate (the little boy who just had the cleft palate surgery), has been having a VERY, VERY difficult time with reflux and his parents are simply worn out and heartbroken. He is back in the hospital right now dealing with that as well as a heart repair. His temporary fix was having problems...they are trying to get him bigger and stronger before his complete TET repair (same surgery as Maxwell had). Please keep Tate and his family in your prayers.
Well I am off...I have a nurse this afternoon and I am volunteering for a few hours this afternoon at the Parent to Parent office. We want to establish an email database to better alert parents to upcoming events. Excited to help strengthen our special needs community! :)

Wow! Talk about "super mom." I think if I had to be up at 4am with a not so happy baby the only thing I'd be volunteering for is SLEEP! Your amazing!
Poor Max I hope you feel better soon and I hope mommy can get some needed sleep.
Hugs,
Crystal and Eva

Amy, I don't know how you do it but I am so thankful that there are people like you in this world. God bless you, sweetie, and that handsome little man of yours.
Sorry you've got to deal with acid reflux, little guy! I know my youngest had reflux, and it was no easy task to deal with it. Hope things get better!
