stomach bug strikes again

Man oh man, when will this bug ever leave?

This is the third (or fourth? but who's counting?) time in two weeks it has overtaken Max's sweet little body. Last night he was up vomiting and having massive explosions on the other end as well. Today he is very sad and crying a lot. Fortunately I had a nurse last night so I ran out this morning and stocked up (again!) on Pedialyte.

I am hoping this bug "infestation" (yuck, yuck, yuck) only lasts 24 hours and leaves for real this time.

My nurse was teasing me this morning that perhaps we need to take the doctor's orders of "ISOLATION" more seriously. I know, I know...but's it very hard. I love for people to be around and enjoy Mighty Max. And boy does he love it!

But apparently, that is going to have to change. His compromised immune system is just that...very compromised and very weak.

Amy, I'm sorry to hear that Maxwell has been hit again with the awful stomach bug. My entire family came to DC for Christmas this year and all of us except Sean and Regina were hit with it...and BAD! It was the absolute worst Christmas ever! It started on Christmas Eve and we still are not feeling well yet...the kids are now sick with colds on top of it! Let's pray the New Year brings us all much health and rest! I hope Max is back to himself soon.
Love,Renee

Amy, thank you so much for your invitation to share Maxwells' blog. After I emailed you, I really didn't expect an invitation, and I just looked at my husband and cried and cried! You just don't know how Max's story has touched me! He is truly a miracle!

Get better soon, buddy. How about a deal? You get over your tummy flu and Dylan will get over his cold? Sound like a plan?

Take care and Amy, I hope you're getting some rest.
