The 2006 poverty guideline for a two person household is $13,200. Guess where the father wants us? Yep, below that number.
We received his proposal final order yesterday, and it was more ludicrous than I possibly could have imagined. Of course it angered me, but I am going to get too worked up about it because I cannot imagine the judge would allow this. She made it pretty clear that he had to own up his responsibility and if needed, she would force him to.
It was agreed upon by both parties and the judge that I cannot currently work because of Max's medical and developmental needs. Yet he refuses to pay any alimony for me to stay home with him and wants us to live below the poverty line. Not in your wildest dreams buddy, not in your wildest dreams.
So now both of the proposed orders are in the judge's hands...and we wait.

Dear Amy. May you continue to get through all of this and be able to concentrate all your efforts on that precious son of yours. I'm glad the judge is sticking it to him! Does he really think he can get away with all of this? Puhlease! May you and Max have a very wonderful New Year to come.

Lets see Mr.dipwad live below the poverty line AND take care of a medically fragile/special needs child just for a WEEK, let alone the lifetime he is expecting YOU to do it for! UGH....
But not to worry..I am sure the justice system will prevail upon this situation....

Oh Amy my heart goes out to you. I so wished the voters of your ex's know what kind of man he is. What a lousy no good you know what. Big hugs!!
I prayed for you and Max, and even your ex all morning yesterday. I'll keep on praying, and hopefully the judge and other authorities will do the right thing. Keep holding on....good just has to win out in the end.

Oh Amy! I'm so sorry to hear that! What a horrible man..well actually "man" is even too good for him, but I better keep it clean! He just needs to remember...what goes around comes around.
