happy birthday thomas!

Max's cousin, Thomas (and one of his very favorite buddies!) celebrated his 5th birthday today. Happy birthday Thomas...we love (and enjoy) you very much!

Because of his great love of superheroes, that was the theme for this year's party. Max went as himself..."Mighty Max"...able to talk with his hands, has supersonic hearing tools, and able to "refuel" without even using his mouth! Most impressive is Mighty Max's strength, determination and uniqueness! Pretty impressive super hero if you ask me! :)

One of our neighbors had all the kiddos paint birdhouses for a special tree in their yard. They gave Max an extra little one since this was his first time to participate. He did all of this....by himself! :)

Love watching Maxwell as he explores and enjoys his books. So grown up...so happy...so cute!

Our sweet friends, Eva and Crystal, sent some hearing aid "bling" for Max's birthday. He now has four different figures to add to his hearing aid...Mickey was a definite favorite!

He is grinning so big in this first picture because I was trying to get him to turn so I could take a picture of his bling. But he thought it was quite funny to simply refuse. What a character!
